it had to be either Agasa working on the internet to help them, Subaru in-between steps of the beef stew, or Heiji... because Kogoro's a dunce, the cops are just normal (and busy doing cop stuffs), and Kobayashi-sensei is barely passable because of her Edogawa Ranpo obsession. also, Heiji is the only one who would really truly help the kids out to 'punk Shinichi'. ;)
